biggest ever prize giveaway - Signature 10

Alma de Cuba and Signature Living

Alma de Cuba started its life as the Grade II St Peter?s Roman Catholic Church, the oldest of its kind in Liverpool. Erected in 1788 by Benedictine Father McDonald in what was then almost a rural area, abundant with grassy fields and lush greenery, it served as a Catholic building for over a period of 188 years.

In 1976 it was taken over by the Polish community and renamed Our Lady of Czestochowa, affectionately known at the time as the ?Polish Church?. But, this period of its service did not last long and in 1978 the church closed and subsequently fell into a state of disrepair over a number of years.

However, in 2005 the building was purchased and transformed into Alma de Cuba, a fabulous bar and restaurant that maintains many of the church?s original features such as the altar, ornate stained windows and unique pews.

In December 2016, Liverpool?s most popular restaurant and nightlife venue was taken into the Signature Living fold. Already attracting hundreds of people through its doors, thanks to the outstanding venue and awe-inspiring entertainment, all Signature did was keep the legacy going!

Bringing a little Signature magic along, we cultivated the features that Liverpool fell in love with, whilst giving the venue a revamp, introducing some amazing new live events and giving the menus a little touch up.

With the final introduction of Voodoo, a dark and decadent live show that follows the famous Petal Shower, Signature Living had achieved something very difficult, making Alma de Cuba an even better night out than it already was!

The Signature Living touch was applied to the Cuban inspired menus and helped spice up the cocktail menu with some new creations. Samba Afternoon tea became another sought-after event in Liverpool and best of all, Alma de Cuba was made a welcome addition to the list of Signature Living Liverpool wedding venues, giving people a chance to celebrate their special day in spectacular surroundings.
