Signature Living’s Lawrence Kenwright Promises To Host a Huge Party If England Wins

Signature Living?s Chairman, Lawrence Kenwright, has promised to host a ?huge party? at Alma de Cuba if England wins the World Cup.

Tweeting after the national side?s impressive 6-1 victory over Panama, the boss of Signature Living promised his twitter followers a free bar at the Seel Street venue, saying they could hold him to the tweet if England went all the way.

He also promised his followers “an entire hotel for free for a night”. And it?s looking more and more likely that Lawrence will have to keep to his word after a historic match against Columbia saw England win on penalties for the first time ever in a World Cup.

After the drama of the penalty shoot-out, Lawrence tweeted again that he ?could be throwing quite the party? for his followers, before congratulating the team on their success.

England are playing Sweden in the quarter-finals this weekend and are favourites with the bookies to beat their Scandinavian rivals.

Here?s hoping they take the current momentum all the way to the final so we can celebrate with a couple of cocktails at the Alma de Cuba bar – drinks on Lawrence!

Until then, you can head over to our sister venue The Shankly Hotel this Saturday to watch the Sweden v England game.

It?s set to be an afternoon of beer, burgers and football on the Eden rooftop terrace, with the match being projected onto a big screen and a BBQ and bar available throughout the afternoon. And while we can’t promise a free bar, we can guarantee an amazing atmosphere for the historic game.

Is it too early to say that football might be coming home?
